Responsibilities & Authorities

• Participation in the planning of systems
• Participation in product development and standardization
• Independent development of PLC software for the automation of machines and systems
• Carrying out technical clarifications and realizing interfaces
• Optimizing of existing PLC software and technical standards
• Commissioning of systems up to final acceptance
• Organization of commissioning and the initiation of optimization work
• Prepare and conduct training
• Contact for questions about software and programming
• Modify existing capital equipment to improve product quality, increase part throughput, decrease cost, and strengthen safety measures
• Creation of the technical documentation including, but not limited to design input requirements, specifications, testing protocols, installation, and service procedures
• Assist Manufacturing Engineering group with troubleshooting floor equipment when required
• Comply with the company safety procedures
• Provide timely and detailed status updates
• Quality – Ensure standards are maintained in a highly regulated, process driven environment
• Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites
• Must be available and willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays to meet customer project commitments

Requirements

• Completed degree in electrical engineering, training as a technician or a similar qualification

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Training as a Technician or a similar qualification
• Professional experience in automation
• Excellent knowledge in PLC programming (S7, TIA) is mandatory
• Knowledge of any programming languages like CODESYS, JavaScript, VBA is appreciated
• Advanced knowledge of control and drive technology
• Ability to analyze and solve problems, independent and exact working
• Excellent team and communication skills
• Willingness to travel

Experience

• Minimum of 2 - 3 years UAE experience in the same field

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to contribute significantly to our financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles and a proven track record in financial analysis and reporting. The role is ideal for a results-oriented individual with a passion for finance.

Responsibilities & Authorities

• Coordinating accounting functions and programs.
• Preparing financial analyses and reports.
• Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditures.
• Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
• Maintaining and reconciling balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
• Assisting with annual audit preparations.
• Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
• Preparing federal, state, local, and special tax returns.
• Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
• Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.
• Analyse Manufacturing costs and variance to ensure cost efficiency.
• Monitor and report on cost trends, identifying areas for improvement.
• Implement cost control measures and cost reduction initiatives.
• Monitoring the project budget by identifying variances in the projected results and implementing changes to correct them.
• Tracking project expenses to control various types of cost behaviour such as variable vs fixed or direct vs indirect cost. 
• Facilitating the alignment of revenue recognition with accounting standards to allow for specific profitability analysis.
• Developing project accounting plans in SAP, monitoring actual expenses compared to the budget, and providing financial insights.
• Recognising revenue based on project milestones to ensure that financials align with project progress.
• Analyse financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations.
• Prepare and present financial statements reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• Build and maintain Excel models, reports, and management dashboards.
• Liaison with external and other auditors, outsourced partners and banks.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of tax laws.
• Strong financial analysis skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organisational and stress management skills.
• Strong knowledge in SAP S4 Hana specifically the Projects module and Finance and Cost Controlling (FICO) Module.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
• Ability to train and manage staff.
• Ability to work with little to no supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Master’s in Accounting, Commerce or Finance is required
• Multinational business familiarity preferred
• Experience in the Manufacturing industry preferred
