Moved by the traditional fork lift, Shuttle operates in every channel according to the FIFO (First in First out) and LIFO (Last in First out) procedures.The best employment for this type of shuttles is in refrigerated cellars of food industry where temperatures can reach down to -30°. Storage method utilized in the food and pharmaceutical industries due to a precise management of expiry dates. It favors the picking of pallets containing goods produced earlier, hence stored as first. Radio Shuttles are cooperated with this function allowing storage from one front and picking from the opposite of the racking system. It is necessary therefore, the two fronts of the racks to be free to allow storage and picking.
Storage method for goods which do not have expiry dates, so the option First Stocked, First picked is not necessary, unless otherwise requested by the client.

The shuttle is positioned on first setting -Home, and placed onto the channel needed employing a fork lift truck. Next, the operator places the pallet on the Shuttle. Selecting the Load function on the remote control, the shuttle lifts up the pallet and then transports it to the first available position within the channel for then returning to Home.

Shuttle is solely controlled by its radio transmitter. Every single function is regulated by individual commands such as lift, move a pallet and unload.
MODIFYING STORAGE GAP(FROM 20 TO 150 mm)
The standard distance between pallets is 40 mm. In case of overflowing loads it is possible to modify such gap up to 120 mm employing the remote control.

CONTINUOUS UNLOADING PLUS
This setting allows a faster unloading. It is similar to the Continuos Unloading function, but here Shuttle does not wait for the pallet to be taken. The shuttle will continue with another load waiting for the first one to be taken by the operator, creating a queue of pallets.
Shuttle rearranges automatically the rack utilizing the places available. This function is for mode FIFO.
